RDA Professionalising Data Stewardship Interest Group (PDS-IG)

International exchange and collaboration on professionalising data stewardship in the context of the Research Data Alliance (RDA).

Main activities

The group comes together in community meetings and in sessions at RDA Plenaries. Task groups take on specific challenges and produce surveys, reports, recommendations and other outputs on topics such as data stewardship models, skills, training and career paths.

How to participate?

Anyone who finds the topic interesting can take part. Create a free RDA account, sign up for the Interest Group and join meetings, discussions and task groups.

Scope

Worldwide and across disciplines, with data stewards, researchers, policymakers, trainers, and organisations that develop and support data stewardship.

Collaborations

An Interest Group of the RDA, led by a team of volunteer co-chairs.
