Organisation and Governance
Research Data Netherlands (RDNL) is governed by a Board consisting of representatives from each partner organisation (4TU.ResearchData, DANS, Health-RI, SURF).
In the period 2025-2028, RDNL is establishing a Stakeholder Forum as a means of engaging with key stakeholders and communities in the Netherlands. This is part of our work to develop a national training platform for data professionals, funded by Open Science NL/NWO. The forum will consist of representatives from the partner organisations of Open Science NL, Dutch research performing organisations, and relevant communities (e.g. LCRDM, Local Digital Competence Centres, DCC-PO, Data Steward Interest Group, Thematic Digital Competence Centres).
The role of the forum will be to advise and think along with RDNL while we develop the national training platform and explore ways to ensure its long-term governance and sustainability.
The first RDNL Stakeholder Forum meeting will be held in Autumn 2025 as part of the launch of the national training platform.
