Essentials 4 Data Support

The Essentials 4 Data Support course provides an introductory-level overview for data professionals and those who assist researchers with storing, managing, archiving and sharing their research data.

The course comprises two days of in-person teaching, complemented by online learning materials and weekly assignments. You will receive a certificate upon successful completion of all course components. 

The in-person teaching sessions will take place on Thursday 18 September 2025 (TU Delft) and Tuesday 11 November 2025 (SURF, Utrecht). The language of instruction will be in English.

About RDNL Essentials

RDNL organises three rounds of the “Essentials” training each year: two in English and one in Dutch. A training round typically spans approximately six weeks. You are also very welcome to join our online course platform if you prefer self-paced learning.
