Save the date: 9 November Dutch Data Prize21 July 2016
The Dutch Data Prize awards on 9 November promises to be exciting. We have received fifty entries. The next two months a jury will consider the nominations. Mid-September the nine nominees will be announced.
The Dutch Data Prize awards the efforts of a researcher (or research group) who contribute to science by making research data accessible for new or additional research. This year, prizes are awarded in three categories: 1) humanities and social sciences, 2) exact and technical sciences and 3) medical and life sciences. .
The winners receive a sculpture and €5,000 to make the dataset (more) accessible (e.g. by organising a symposium or by making the data accessible online).
