Registration for Essentials 4 Data Support open13 August 2014
Would you like to provide better support to researchers in the sustainable storage and sharing of their research data? If so, you should register for the Essentials 4 Data Support course provided by Research Data Netherlands. New starting dates are planned for October and January.
The course consists of two group meetings supervised by coaches, presentations by experts, online course materials and a number of assignments. Read more about the course dates, costs and registration on the course website. Research Data Netherlands (RDNL) is a collaborative partnership between 3TU.Datacentrum and Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS).
Online learning materials freely available
Research Data Netherlands makes the online learning materials for the course available to everyone free of charge, based on the idea of open access. The online-only version of this course can be followed at any time by those interested via the course website. In this version, the student does not participate in the meetings with fellow students and experts, and there is no coaching.
Aim of the course
With this course, Research Data Netherlands aims to contribute to the professional development of and coordination between data support staff. Essentials 4 Data Support is the fully revised and updated version of the Data Intelligence 4 Librarians course, offered by 3TU.Datacentrum and DANS until last year. Essentials 4 Data Support was first offered this Spring and received positive feedback.
